    Job Description

    We are looking for a Sr. Accountant with a strong accounting background in U.S. GAAP. This role will report to the Director of Consolidations and Reporting. You will join a highly collaborative team supporting the global consolidation closing and reporting process, and the related monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting activities required at the consolidated and standalone company levels.

    The individual for this role will be a highly performing self-starter with a strong work ethic. This role is pivotal in supporting the consolidation process for a complex multinational organization.

    Essential Functions

    * Support the monthly consolidations processes of the Blue Yonder business units, and the related monthly financial reporting packages

    * Coordinate with loading and validation of trial balances for entities that are outside of our ERP system

    * Support the review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

    * Analyze and validate the foreign currency and translation impact on financial results

    * Analyze global results- Review consolidate results of the business and help draft consolidated Balance Sheet and Income Statement flux analysis

    * Own the compilation of key roll forwards (Goodwill, PPE, Intangible and Equity) ensuring precision and integrity

    * Ensure Proper Elimination of Intercompany Transactions - Ensure flawless eliminations across entities for a transparent financial picture

    * Prepare the reconciliation of equity and certain other balance sheet accounts

    * Support M&A integration activities, including coordination with regional accounting teams on the opening entries based on purchase price accounting

    * Work on pushdown accounting resulting from M&A

    * Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.

    * Partner with controllership teams to streamline accounting workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance overall efficiency

    * Support External Reporting & Compliance - Work closely with audit teams to guarantee adherence to SOX/internal controls and external reporting requirements

    * Leverage technology and automation tools to optimize accounting processes

    * Assist in special accounting and finance projects on an ad-hoc basis

    Qualifications

    * Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance - A strong foundation in financial principles

    * 4-6 years of accounting experience - Big-4 experience preferred, with expertise in US GAAP/IFRS

    * Public accounting and industry experience with large publicly traded companies a plus

    * Experience working in complex consolidations for multinational organizations is a plus

    * Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree in Accounting

    * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

    * Ability to keep deadlines at a fast pace without losing accuracy.

    * Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. Workday) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, power point and Outlook) required

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
