What We're Looking For:

A skilled and dependable Engineering Specialist: HVAC II to support and maintain the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the property. This essential technical role is responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, scheduled maintenance, and system installations under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical expertise, a proactive approach to solving system issues, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

* A detail-oriented technician who can analyze problems, diagnose root causes, and implement effective repairs.

* A safety-minded worker who understands and follows all operational and environmental safety procedures and codes.

What You Will Do:

* Troubleshoot and repair commercial heating, air conditioning, pumps, and building exhaust systems with minimal supervision.

* Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions by inspecting controls, wiring, motors, expansion valves, and electronic components.

* Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems to ensure peak operation.

* Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components, including coil units, motors, valves, and sensors.

* Troubleshoot and repair both digital and pneumatic HVAC control systems, ensuring proper communication with building management systems.

* Balance air and water treatment systems to maintain proper flow, temperature, and pressure across distribution networks.

* Identify and correct condensation, humidity, or ventilation issues within the building.

* Check system performance indicators including velocity, volume, temperature, and pressure to ensure compliance with standards.

* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety codes, building regulations, and internal policies. * Prepare and submit requests for necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.

* Respond promptly to emergency HVAC service calls to minimize downtime and guest inconvenience.

* Supervise and assign daily work orders to assigned crew members as needed.

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all housekeeping and safety procedures.

* Attend all required training sessions and department meetings; may work varying shifts to support business needs.

Your Experience Includes:

* High school diploma or GED.

* At least 2 years of direct experience working with HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

* Valid state driver's license.

* CFC Certification

* Experience with digital and pneumatic HVAC control systems and building automation systems.

* Demonstrated ability to interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions and apply practical problem-solving techniques.

* Ability to write brief reports and complete technical documentation when necessary.
