This high-impact leadership role oversees two critical teams: Partnership Growth Directors, who drive business expansion by securing new location partners, and Area Managers, who lead multi-unit teams focused on customer satisfaction, sales performance, and operational excellence. The AVP is accountable for driving commercial success meeting and exceeding revenue, occupancy, and profitability targets, while also leading the regional expansion of our flexible workspace footprint. Through sharp commercial insight, hands-on coaching, and a commitment to execution, the AVP will develop and deploy clear, data-informed business plans that bridge performance gaps and elevate results across the board. This is a key leadership role within a hybrid work model that demands a blend of operational discipline, sales expertise, and inspirational leadership. IWG has an ambition to get to 30,000 locations over the medium-term by executing multiple strategies and leveraging multiple channels including (but not limited to): * Company-owned locations * Managed partnerships (with building owners) * Franchise partnerships (with building owners and franchise operators) * M&A Key Responsibilities: Tactical Leadership & Execution * Own the region's performance against revenue, occupancy, growth, and profitability targets. * Analyze performance trends and gaps and build actionable business plans to close them. * Cascade business plans to Area Managers for field execution, ensuring alignment across all levels. * Drive cross-functional collaboration to meet both short- and long-term goals. Team Leadership & Development * Directly manage a team of Area Managers and Partnership Growth Directors. * Provide hands-on coaching and development to elevate leadership capabilities, sales focus, and operational discipline. * Build a culture of high accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement. * Serve as a role model for performance standards, team engagement, and integrity. Sales & Business Expansion * Support Partnership Growth Directors in identifying and onboarding new partners to expand the location footprint. * Champion a strong sales culture across all teams, with a focus on conversion, retention, and upselling. * Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and local demand strategies. Operational Excellence & Financial Oversight * Ensure execution of operational standards across all centers with a focus on efficiency, service quality, compliance, and safety. * Use KPIs and field insights to inform decisions and optimize team performance. Customer Experience & Retention * Ensure consistent delivery of an exceptional customer experience across all centers. * Monitor satisfaction metrics and drive action plans to strengthen retention and client engagement. * Promote a customer-first mindset throughout the team. Market Insight & Risk Management * Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for expansion or efficiency improvements. * Mitigate operational and reputational risk by maintaining compliance and anticipating challenges. * Influence corporate strategy by bringing local field insights to the broader leadership team. Qualifications & Experience: * 5+ years of progressive leadership in multi-unit operations, sales, or commercial functions. * Demonstrated success in leading field-based teams with sales and business operations accountability. * Experience in flexible workspace, hospitality, retail, or service-driven sectors strongly preferred. * Proven track record in leading new market expansion, managing partnerships, and driving growth. * Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable plans. * Experience in matrixed and global organizations is a plus. * Willingness and ability to travel across the assigned region.
