This internship is required to be onsite (3 days week or more) at our Lexington, KY headquarters. The Lexmark Channel Telesales Intern is an Entry-level business development and territory sales support role to develop and maintain account relationships with select dealers across North America. This will include assisting in the managing, planning and executing of sales activities, training events, and marketing opportunities with the dealer accounts with the main emphasis on assisting the regional sales representatives to exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales and marketing student seeking the first step in their sales career with the strategic growth segment of the Lexmark Channel Sales organization. The role is within Lexmark's Channel organization which is tasked with driving sales into the small to medium business segment through business partners, IT resellers and copier dealers selling the company's products and/or services. Requirements: Applicants should be an upcoming Junior or Senior-level Business or Marketing major with emphasis on sales or business development who is proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Positive attitude, Strong work ethic, adeptness at working with various systems, ability to organize and analyzelarge amounts of data, and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
