As a Network Engineer will be tasked with building and implementing Network & Security solutions across the organization.

The Network Engineer works with team members and system support personnel on operations related to data connectivity. This includes designing, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all Local and Wide Area Network hardware, associated software, and communication links. The individual will also troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in corporate network design and administration
  • Must have a strong foundation in networking fundamentals, including protocols like TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching, subnetting, VLANs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, Spanning-Tree, etc.
  • Expertise required in wireless technologies like 802.11 standards, WLAN site surveys, RF engineering, signal analysis, and security protocols like WPA/WPA2/WPA3
  • Must have experience with designing, planning, and implementing wired and wireless network infrastructure
  • Must have experience with Next Generation Firewall technologies (Cisco, Juniper, CheckPoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
  • Understanding of networking technologies and protocols, including but not limited to: ADVPN, SD-WAN, EVPN, VXLAN, FHRP protocols
  • Certificates within network domain (Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP-ENT, Fortinet FCSS Network Security, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with troubleshooting tools and techniques
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
  • Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Efficient documentation skills
