Summary: In this role, you will bring a proactive, analytical mindset to support critical back-office processes in our acute-care hospital by managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functionalities, overseeing Item Master and inventory workflows, configuring e-commerce platforms, and activating contracts. The Supply Chain Systems Analyst has strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively present data-driven insights to senior leadership are essential, as well as support integration activities with the hospital's EMR system (EPIC) ensuring smooth interoperability. Responsibilities:
- Actively troubleshoot process issues and collaborate with stakeholders to implement workflow and data quality improvements.
- Maintain a working knowledge of business processes within the ERP and how they connect to broader supply chain goals.
- Support e-commerce platform integration, ensuring correct catalog loading, vendor compliance, and digital transaction readiness.
- Assist with contract processes including monitoring contract processes from execution to system loading,
- Conduct in-depth analyses on procurement related transactions, inventory transactions, and operational bottlenecks.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations tailored for leadership, providing actionable recommendations grounded in data and aligned with regulatory and business objectives.
- Present insights to internal teams and respond to questions regarding data methodology and business implications.
- Collaborate with clinical informatics and IT teams to ensure real-time data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Participate in project teams and stakeholder meetings to gather process requirements and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage expectations and project delivery timelines.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience is required.
- 2 or more years of previous experience with healthcare ERP systems; experience with Workday ERP platform is highly preferred.
- Experience as a supply chain analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within a healthcare or acute care hospital environment is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for robust data analysis and PowerPoint for effective data visualization and presentations.
- Demonstrated understanding of Item Master data management, e-commerce platforms, and contract lifecycle processes.
- Awareness and understanding of inventory management processes, including automated replenishment systems, PAR management, cycle counting, and inventory audits.
- Familiarity with EMR system integration; prior experience with EPIC EMR integrations is beneficial.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of clearly articulating complex data to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $101,200.00.
