We are currently looking for experienced, motivated, and creative individuals to fill Owner Relations, Surface Agreements and Outside Operated Properties positions. These positions will be supporting all Oxy Land Functions with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Set up and manage Dynamic Tickets related to land administration workflows. * Respond to and resolve owner and operator inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. * Analyze and enter surface agreements into the QLS system, ensuring data integrity and compliance. * Assist in the setting up of non-operated wells, including validation of ownership and contract data. * Support additional projects related to owner relations, surface agreements, and well setups as assigned. * This role may require occasional travel to the nearest Oxy office location-Greenway, The Woodlands, Denver, or Midland-in addition to remote work from the candidate's home-based office. Qualifications: * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal. * Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. * Willingness to learn systems of record; QLS, SAP, etc. * Ability to work under deadlines and sometimes on multiple projects. * Handle confidential and proprietary company data and information. * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. * Knowledge of basic land principles * General understanding of land terminology Additional Desired Skills: * Oil & Gas industry terminology * Strong analytical skills * Must be enrolled in college courses pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree. * Required 3.0 GPA for 4-year programs & 2.5 GPA for 2-year programs Benefits of Performing this Role * Gain hands-on experience in owner relations, including communication with interest owners and resolution of ownership discrepancies. * Learn to calculate ownership interest and understand decimal interest allocations, working interest, and net revenue interest. * Develop skills in reading and interpreting legal descriptions, including lot and block, metes and bound, and Jeffersonian. * Analyze oil and gas contracts, such as leases, joint operating agreements, and unit agreements, with exposure to royalty clauses and post-production cost terms. * Participate in setup and maintenance of surface agreements, including easements, rights of way, and surface use agreements. * Support outside operated well setups, including division of interest and validation of non-operator interest. * Work with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment focused on mentorship and knowledge sharing. * Access internal training materials and business process procedures to build technical proficiency in land systems and data integrity. * Contribute to real-world projects that impact operational efficiency and compliance in the oil and gas sector.
