Professionals in these roles drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction within organizations.

Discipline Description

Quality Assurance personnel develop policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. They ensure products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and customer requirements. They develop, assure, and maintain the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures, and quality audits/reviews.

Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Provide facility oversight duties to include: Perform Self-Assessment, Surveillance, NCR Coordination, review of facility needed design changes procurement specifications, Commercial Grade Dedication, Facility Operations Safety Committee and Management Review Board participation, Packaging & Transportation oversight.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field
* Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
Ability to obtain Q level security clearance and maintain Human Reliability Program requirements.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
