Advantage xPO is seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join a leading manufacturing partner in Dodge Center, MN. This role focuses on building and repairing jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support
new product development and engineering changes. Ideal candidates are confident welders with mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Pay Rate: $23 - $28/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:



  • Build and repair tools and fixtures from 2D drawings, using welding and machining equipment
  • Read blueprints, including GD&T, to accurately fabricate components
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Operate CNC lathe/mill, hoists, forklifts, saws, and hand tools
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and support SMS audits
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and team members
  • Support overtime and weekend work during shutdowns or project deadlines



Qualifications:



  • Certified Senior Welder
  • Forklift Certification
  • 5+ years of welding or related tooling experience
  • CNC machine operation experience
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and blueprint reading
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Comfortable with confined spaces, heights, and extended standing or sitting
