Primary Location:

Nampa, Idaho

Label Operator: The Label Operator is responsible for the general performance requirements, quality, and visual specifications off all PET Bottles. They will operate specified machinery and complete quality measurements to produce a quality beverage package that meets performance standards by performing the following duties.

  • Must be willing and able to work as a team player.
  • Starts and operates machinery to the specified standards.
  • Make mechanical adjustments to ensure labels are being applied to the containers within specifications.
  • Perform daily and monthly housekeeping while adhering to Food Safety Policies.
  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical failures.
  • Record Quality inspections and document machine downtime.
  • Communicate and transfer information.
  • Understand and demonstrate compliance with SOP's related to work area.
  • Record label core tag information for every roll of labels ran.
  • Follow Hold Procedures and hold product that does not meet specifications.
  • Perform production change overs, set up and start machinery to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiencies are maintained.
  • Completes all required Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Ability to read/write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats. Ability to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to effectively use basic hand tools, such as screwdriver, pliers, hammer, and wrenches.
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination to monitor and adjust bottle blowing line.
