JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure, energy management, and ensure that facilities are safe and well-Functioning. Oversee all installations, repairs, and upkeep operations of the company's facilities. Ensuring that colleagues, clients, and volunteers can work under the best conditions to complete their duties according to budget.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Provides Administrative supervision of 1 FTE and Functional supervision of 4 to 6 FTEs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Inspect buildings routinely to guarantee that building services are at the highest level of quality standards. Monitors and reviews preventive maintenance programs.
  • Prepare project justifications including Scope of Work, bid documents and vendor quotes and recommendation; track and approve project invoices.
  • Work with Sr. Directors of Facility to provide the strategy, vision, and continuous improvement to drive the facility personnel to advance the quality-of-service delivery and further departments/program satisfaction.
  • Foster a collaborative teamwork environment. Maximize productivity. Motivate employees with recognition and encourage them to obtain green construction, plumbing, electrical, and locksmith technical certifications.
  • Submit, approved, schedule, and track the completion of all maintenance activity through the CMMS System.
  • Work with Sr. Director of Facilities to submit on time and accurate reports, including cost savings initiatives, project completions, variances analyses, weekly reports etc.


      EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:




      • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent diploma.



      • DC 3rd Class Stationary Engineer (ICC Exam 323) License highly preferred.



      • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) highly preferred.



      • Certified Locksmith preferred.



      • Ten years of Building Engineering experience in a commercial setting.



      • Five years of Supervisory Building Engineering experience in a commercial setting.



      • Previous experience and knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair and maintenance.



      • Experience in general building maintenance.



      • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.




      SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:



      • Proficient in and experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, One Drive, Share Drive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.
      • Superior client relationship management skills.
