The Opportunity:

The Web Content Specialist II plays a critical role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining UCF Advancement & Partnerships' websites and digital presence. This position will support content creation, backend website maintenance, giving form management, analytics reporting, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud page development.

The Web Content Specialist II will work closely with Advancement Communications and Alumni Communications teams to ensure that our websites including ucffoundation.org, ucf.edu/partnerships, foundation.ucf.edu, ucfalumni.com, and others deliver a seamless, engaging, and donor-focused user experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Website Content Support: Draft, edit, and maintain content across multiple sites ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with UCF brand standards.

  • Backend Website Maintenance: Manage WordPress sites, plugins, updates, backups, and troubleshoot technical issues; collaborate with IT and hosting providers.

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive campaigns across digital platforms.

  • Giving Form Management: Build and optimize online giving forms for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and data accuracy; track and recommend improvements based on analytics.

  • Analytics & Insights: Generate regular website performance reports, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to increase engagement and conversions.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Pages: Develop and maintain dynamic Cloud Pages (AMPscript, HTML/CSS) for campaigns, events, and donor engagement; ensure data integration with CRM.

  • Campaign Support: Create URL redirects, friendly URLs, and other technical support for marketing campaigns and events.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience managing WordPress websites, including backend updates, plugins, and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HTML/CSS, and CRM (e.g., Blackbaud or similar) data integration.

  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining giving forms and tracking performance metrics.

  • Experience in building campaign microsites.

  • Experience with design/website design and basic graphics abilities.

  • Knowledge of ADA compliance and responsive design principles.

  • Experience in website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) with the ability to extract actionable insights.

  • Prior experience in higher education or nonprofit digital communications.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • A motivated self-starter who can work independently.

Advancement and Partnerships values the unique contributions that each team member brings to our division. The anticipated salary range for this position is $56,030 - $68,637. The final determination of a successful candidate's starting salary will vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations. The anticipated pay scale indicated for this position generally applies to candidates who meet the minimum requirements and several of the preferred qualifications outlined above.
