Are you a data analyst with exceptional excel skills and a passion for Human Resources? We are hiring a Data Analyst on our People Organization (HR) team for North America.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chicago office. This is a non-exempt, hourly role.

What the day will look like

Under advisement of the Chief People Officer (CPO), the HR Data Analyst role will support the aligned HR team with all data and analysis related requests. This role will take direction from HR Leaders and will need to leverage the expertise of the People Organization (PO) "Centers of Excellence" to gather a functional and operational understanding of its organizations business needs and how to best support them.

  • Support the PO leader and their teams with business-critical people initiatives such as annual comp cycle and talent development and assist with tailoring corporate HR programs to meet local business needs.
  • Provide meaningful and timely insight/analysis for core people reporting initiatives (i.e., headcount, turnover, hiring, etc.), including monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Work closely with "Centers of Excellence" to understand key resources and tools available to assist in supporting the HR team.
  • Build and maintain trusting and effective working relationships with the HR team, while partnering with them to co-develop solutions that meet their current and future reporting needs.
  • Manage online tools to support HR initiatives, such as pulling reports for talent initiatives and publishing relevant content on internal knowledge sharing sites.
  • Additional responsibilities and projects, as assigned.

How this opportunity is different

The cyclical talent agenda will primarily drive key initiatives while day to day tasks will derive from the specific needs of the CPO and their respective Line HR team. This role will be responsible for standard reporting and administrative support, additional projects and tasks will be assigned accordingly, based on the business need.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including v-look ups and pivot tables, with basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. PowerBI will be an advantage.
  • Highly organized with capability towork with limited direction and prioritize complex workloads.
  • Strong client services and team skills with a willingness to help and support others.
  • The ability to inquire about, unpack and research data questions, while soliciting and offering solutions.
  • Strong numeracy skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A high level of confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Extremely proactive and highly driven, with the flexibility and willingness to develop.
  • Effective builds and maintains relationships with employees and colleagues at all levels in the organization.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000 - $75,000 USD (HOURLY) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
