The Opportunity:

UCF RESTORES is seeking a Project Manager of the 2nd Alarm Project as a senior level professional who is responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of all program activities and operations, including supervision of staff and oversight of all contractors. The Project Manager will work under the supervision of the Grant Program PI to coordinate all grant activities, oversee technical assistance and training initiatives, participate in developing and implementing program planning, evaluation, research, communications, behavioral health navigation, peer support, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:


  • Supervision of staff working on the 2nd Alarm Project first responder mental wellness deliverables and initiatives including, but not limited to, communications, training, outreach, behavioral health navigation, technical assistance, online learning, and evaluation.

  • Management and coordination of external contractors performing functions of the 2nd Alarm Project deliverables.

  • Providing direct mental health awareness wellness training, post traumatic growth, suicide prevention, family support and leadership training for first responders and their departments.

  • Providing technical assistance to first responder departments on building Behavioral Health Access Programs within their agencies to increase first responder mental wellness.

  • Other duties as assigned to ensure the successful completion of 2nd Alarm Project deliverables and projects.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Graduate-level degree (Master's or higher) in Behavioral Health, Public Health, or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and conducting program evaluation.

  • Prior supervisory experience, particularly within grant-funded or behavioral health initiatives.

  • * Experience working with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) grants.

  • Experience working with first responders and their families on behavioral health issues.

  • Experience with mass reach health communication and social marketing campaigns, grant writing and administration.

  • Strategic planning and sustainability efforts experience.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
