About The Enterprise Innovation Institute
The Enterprise Innovation Institute is Georgia Tech's economic development arm, comprised of more than a dozen programs. It's the largest and most comprehensive university-based program of its kind in the United States. Its core focus areas include entrepreneurship and startup development, business and industry growth, ecosystem development, and international outreach.

The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) at Georgia Tech is a startup incubator that helps technology entrepreneurs in Georgia launch and grow successful companies. Job Summary

Promote the services of the Georgia Tech Communications & Marketing organization to campus units. Upon engagement, provide full spectrum communications support to assigned units. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: faculty, staff, students, vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, staff and students. This position will supervise: assigned staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Develop client relationships and market the available services of the Communications and Marketing organization to the campus.

Job Duty 2 -
Coordinate strategic planning efforts for campus clients.

Job Duty 3 -
Prepare, execute and measure communications plans and efforts including project status and budgets.

Job Duty 4 -
Coordinate internal communications and media resources based on clients' needs.

Job Duty 5 -
Collaborate with Communications and Marketing staff to build, serve on, or lead specific integrated communications and project teams. Manage project costs, production and client relations.

Job Duty 6 -
Manage electronic and print projects with regard to production, costs, quality and effectiveness.

Job Duty 7 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Two to four years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Central Georgia.
  • Experience working in or with a scalable company.
  • Knowledge of go-to-market strategies for technology companies
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of communications program development and production. Includes strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills, negotiation and customer service skills, print and electronic production knowledge, strategic planning skills, creativity and attention to detail. Use of office and specialized computer applications is required.

Other Information

Salary range: $50,000.00 - $54,442.30 (This position will be a part-time position at up to 22 hours per week).

Location: Macon, GA

Job grade: A10

This is not a supervisory position.

This role is not considered a position of trust.
This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Card).
This position may travel 1% - 24% of the time
