Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for Maintenance Technician.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair printing presses, electrical issues, and other equipment across the facility

  • Install electrical components and power distribution for new and existing equipment

  • Use tools like drills, lathes, grinders, and welders to build, repair, or fine-tune press parts and machinery

  • Identify and order the parts or materials needed to complete repairs or upgrades

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly and reduce downtime

  • Show up reliably and work well with others-including teammates, supervisors, and vendors-to get the job done

Your Shift: First Shift

You Must Have:

  • A degree or certification in industrial electricity, electrical distribution, machine controls, PLCs, or a related field

  • The ability to read and interpret work orders, safety guidelines, operating procedures, and other job-related documents

  • Strong verbal communication skills-you'll be working closely with other team members

  • Basic math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and whole numbers

  • A practical, common-sense approach to following instructions in written, spoken, or diagram form

This Role Also Requires:

  • Clear, effective communication-both sharing and understanding information with your team

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for parts of the shift

  • Frequent use of tools, machines, and materials, including printed products

  • Regular movement throughout the facility during your shift

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing 25+ pounds on a regular basis

We Would Also Prefer:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or maintenance role

  • Prior experience with industrial electrical systems and machine repair
