Position Summary: TUV SUD America is looking for a Software Engineer to join our agile development team, building and implementing secure, enterprise-grade software systems using the Microsoft .NET development stack. The ideal candidate is a hands-on application developer with experience developing scalable data platforms and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment with little supervision, and promote customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Build internal and external web applications from a deep understanding of .NET; demonstrated mastery of development best practices; proven experience in architecting and building scalable web applications Work with internal and external customers to implement bug-free digital experiences Engage with the business on issues related to design and requirements Design, develop, and unit test applications following established standards Create scalable, automated solutions for our customer base Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations for the design and implementation of systems Analyze and resolve technical and application problems Estimate task durations and deliver solutions on time Maintain awareness of new technologies and industry developments Your qualifications
Education and Experience: 3+ years' software development experience with .Net 3+ years of experience building applications with two or more of: JavaScript, Knockout, Telerik, Maui, React, jQuery. Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience Extensive experience with SQL Server or other relational DBMS Experience with HTML5 and CSS and MVVM design pattern Experience with Azure DevOps Object-oriented design and coding experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work collaboratively and individually Commitment to continuous improvement Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to provide actionable solutions Strong analytical and reasoning skills Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase Fundamental competencies form the foundation for individual and organizational success in TUV SUD and apply to all employees and showcase behaviors aligned to TUV SUD values and culture cornerstones: Communication Collaboration Customer Orientation Self-Management Additional Information
