Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and globally minded HR Business Partner to support our international HR operations. This role reports to the Global HR Director. This position will partner with global HR COEs and the HR team around the world to develop and implement our International HR operations standards, assessment tools, reporting and lead new country start-ups for Oceaneering. To be successful in this role, this person must be a solution-oriented professional that facilitates global approaches and solutions to align the organization to ensure consistent HR processes and practices that respect local compliance and cultural nuances. They will leverage global workforce analytics to inform and improve our organization. They will often lead change initiatives, and, at a minimum, support various HR projects, often with a global scope. LOCATION:
- Role provides the opportunity to provide to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.
- Role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate meetings with co-workers in other time zones around the world.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).
Duties And Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL:
- Partner with Global HR COEs to develop, and maintain international HR operating standards, country HR assessment tool, and new country start-up process.
- Partner with country HR to develop annual country assessment schedule and resource plan.
- Lead training of the self-assessment tool.
- Conduct and report on country self-assessments.
- Identify and maintain HR best practices.
- Leads quality, and continuous improvement for the Global HR team.
- Identify and lead the re-engineering of processes, workflow efficiencies, and organizational design in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Ensure effective implementation of Corporate HR programs and processes within Global HR.
- Ensure country HR processes and programs are operating effectively, aligned with Corporate; and comply with applicable law and regulatory requirements, and Corporate policies.
- Partner with compliance, legal and internal audit to manage risk and ensure audit readiness globally.
- Support Global HR projects tied to enterprise priorities (e.g., ERP transformation, Catalyst initiatives).
- Coordinate annual country total rewards labor market reports.
- Prepares monthly reporting and budgets for Global HR.

- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
- This position will report to the Global HR Director.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field.
- 10 or more years of experience in multiple HR functions and/or a generalist roles.
- Thorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards or related experience that translates well to dealing with these matters.
- Experience managing or leading multi-functional teams across multiple locations domestically or internationally.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization and positively influence teams.
- Has relevant experience or demonstrated ability in turning business strategies into actions; including development of strategic goals, identifying tactical plans to implement a strategy, and managing plan execution.
- Experience developing and leading others in the development of change management plans; including risk management, stakeholder identification, and communications.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects with a high degree of autonomy.
DESIRED:
- Master's degree in business, Human Resources or related field is a plus.
- Previous international country HR experience is highly desirable.
- Previous new country entry HR experience is a plus.
- Previous experience as a transition team member in a merger, acquisition, or divestiture is desirable.
- Experience working in a global matrixed organization is a plus.
