Job Title: Manufacturing Planner

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Everett, WA

Shift: First 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


Responsibilities:

  • Plans and leads teams that support the implementation of strategic business initiatives and manufacturing and tooling enhancements.
  • Analyzes new technologies, concepts, and processes that simplify and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Supports benchmarking of industry to determine best practices.
  • Leads integration of major, complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
  • Develops unique and innovative tooling requirements in alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Establishes processes for managing tooling from initial design to end of use disposition.
  • Leads investigations of critical manufacturing related issues. Develops and implements solutions involving a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports benchmarking of advanced applications and methodologies to support producibility improvements.
  • Researches and develops unique and innovative manufacturing concepts.
  • Influences the design to ensure efficient manufacturing and optimum value.
  • Presents business case/trade study recommendations to leadership for review.
  • Leads the development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Performs high-level analysis of schedule and work statement processes to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
  • Researches, develops, and implements new manufacturing processes to support long-range goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Works under consultative direction.



Required skills/qualifications:

  • 9 years of aerospace manufacturing planning exp.
  • Read eng drawings.
  • Writing and revising work.



Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Systems experience: PDM, CAPP, and CMES.
