This role serves as the primary face of prior authorization to clients, directly interacting with them and collaborating with internal stakeholders to support the relationship such as operations, compliance, clinical, reporting analytics, general account management, and marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the client-facing representative of the prior authorization department, focusing on relationship management and day to day issue resolution
  • Represent the client perspective to all internal stakeholders, including PA operations and compliance, clinical, and general account management
  • Advance the client relationship and execution of their clinical strategy performance through evaluation of client PA data and collaboration with internal partners
  • Communicate proactively, through the creation and delivery of recurring formal presentations that distill complex data into executive-level headlines using client-friendly and appropriate messaging

Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management working with business clients
  • 3+ years of experience working within a PBM or health plan experience
  • Authorization experience, including exposure to the prior authorization process
  • Experience developing and delivering formal presentations, influencing individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting pharmacy or medical data
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 15%



Preferred Qualifications:



  • PAHub Experience
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (federal, state, accreditation bodies) within PBM industry governing the prior authorization process

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
