**In-Process Inspector

In-Process Inspector

Job Purpose:

Monitor and inspection of manufacturing goods, conducts dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies and/or final system assemblies.

Nature of Duties:

• Identify components including part numbers, values, package size/shape, placement and solderability
• Report findings to appropriate personnel, and record findings on applicable documentation
• Perform other responsibilities as needed
• Collaborate with department leads/supervisor on concerns with components and technical support staff for immediate results
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Ability to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time
• Must be able to work overtime
• May need to lift up to 35 pounds

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at once
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary.
• Must be available for overtime as needed
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing and knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
