Schedule

Night Shift | 6 PM - 6 AM

Salary

$70,000 - $75,000 + $2,500 sign on bonus

Requirements



  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Injection molding experience
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds


Preferred Skills/Experience



  • A college degree
  • 6 sigma green belt
  • Experience in the automotive industry



Molding Supervisor Job Tasks



  • Oversee the resources, schedules, and equipment of the molding department.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate production employees to maximize productivity, efficiency, and team morale.
  • Manage and complete daily production schedules, ensuring optimal workflow and minimal downtime.
  • Oversee quality assurance, monitor compliance with production standards, and conduct root cause analysis of product rejections.
  • Support problem-solving teams and lead immediate corrective actions for production performance and quality KPIs.
  • Enforce compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and environmental standards.
  • Analyze, monitor, and improve manufacturing processes, implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and business systems for real-time decision-making and accurate data management.
  • Respond to customer complaints and work cross-functionally to resolve production and quality issues.
  • Oversee inventory control, including cycle counts, scrap reduction, and documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure 6S, standard work, and all safety and quality requirements are met across production areas.
  • Conduct employee payroll verification, performance reviews, and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify process improvements, and participate in team-focused training (TFT) activities.
  • Maintain accurate production reports, verify compliance with paperwork requirements, and manage non-conforming product dispositions.
  • Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
