ABOUT OUR ENGINEERING SCIENCES TEAM

As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today's most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries, but with a heavy focus on large industrial facilities like power plants, Oil & Gas facilities, chemical processing plants, construction, and similar. Outside of that work, you will be engaged in automotive, consumer products, consumer electronics, and medical devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct field inspections and subsurface explorations to assess geotechnical conditions.
  • Perform geotechnical and civil engineering analyses to support project design and implementation.
  • Assist in peer reviews of geotechnical system designs and construction processes.
  • Prepare conceptual designs for the repair and restoration of damaged geotechnical systems.
  • Gather and synthesize data from diverse sources (e.g., field investigations, document reviews, interviews) to deliver clear, technical conclusions to engineering, business, and industry stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requisite professional degrees and ~5+ years of work experience:
    • MS in Civil Engineering
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Licensed Professional Civil or Structural Engineer in at least one state within the United States - or equivalent licensure in other countries
  • Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills
  • The desire to lead, auxiliary tasks associated with a growing practice within a rapidly growing firm
