Definition:

The Snack Shack Outlet Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized snack shack, preparing and serving snacks and beverages, and providing excellent customer service to all guests. Ideal candidates will be team players with strong attention to detail and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

General Duties:



  • Greet and serve guests promptly and courteously.
  • Prepare and serve hot dogs, chips, candy, and other snacks.
  • Mix and serve simple alcoholic beverages in accordance with local laws and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed throughout the day.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary shack, including wiping surfaces, sweeping, and taking out trash.
  • Operate point-of-sale system, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Follow health, safety, and alcohol service regulations at all times.


Supportive Functions:



  • Perform tasks in a team-based environment.
  • Professionally always represent Horseshoe Bay during shifts and /or when on property for job related issues.
  • Ability to meet standards of appearance.
  • Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe.


Employment standards:



  • 16 years of age or older.
  • Completion of lifeguard training.
  • 1+ months related experience.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • AED certification preferred.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in interacting with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
  • Available to work shifts.
  • Physically fit, strong, agile, and dexterous.


Physical & Mental Requirements:



  • Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions common to Texas.
  • Very observant.
  • Ability to assess a situation and respond quickly and appropriately.
  • Must be able lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
  • Team oriented.
