Innovation Partnership Specialist (CONTRACT) Job Summary: This CONTRACTOR supports the Director of Innovation, Emerging Technology & Business
Location: Remote in North America Only Position Specifications: Part-time contract position, 6-Month contract. Development, combining both scientific and industry knowledge to help identify strategic growth opportunities via potential strategic partners or R&D projects. The successful candidate will focus on the support the day-to-day management of partnerships, identification and evaluation of strategic partnerships, and evaluation and due diligence of potential externally sourced innovation such as new products, technology, ingredient or partnership opportunities. Key Responsibilities: * Partnership Management * Support in day-to -day relationship, data management and the communications with partners focusing on building strong relationships and ensure alignment with innovation initiatives. * Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with external organizations, startups, and industry innovators in the dietary supplements sector. * External Innovation: * Support and conduct research and analysis on external and emerging product innovation opportunities in the dietary supplements market. * Participate in the evaluation and due diligence of potential externally sourced innovation such as new products, technology, ingredient or partnership opportunities. * Prepare analysis, reports and presentations to support informed decision-making by relevant stakeholders. * Monitor and communicate emerging R&D and innovation trends as relevant. * Assist in the preparation and review of concepts, ideas, and claims for commercialization plans. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders as required eg regulatory, scientific affairs, and legal teams for opportunity analysis and to support commercialization efforts. Qualifications: * Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science and/or Business Administration. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience and interest in innovation, strategic partnerships, market trends, and strategic growth initiatives, particularly in the dietary supplements industry. * Strong analytical and research skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications: * Experience or internship in scientific affairs, partnership management, market analysis, or a related field. * Familiarity with the consumer and practitioner dietary supplement channels in North America.
