Description
The MidFirst Bank MoneyMoments award-winning financial education program provides personal finance workshops and events for students of all ages. In 2024, the MoneyMoments team hosted 743 workshops to reach 29,718 participants! MoneyMoments accolades include recognition in the 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2023 American Bankers Association Community Commitment Awards, plus three Excellence in Financial Education Awards (EIFLE) in 2019, 2023 and 2024. In partnership with the University of Oklahoma, MidFirst Bank provides an on-campus MoneyCoach program that assists students with personalized financial coaching and educational events. PURPOSE OF POSITION Financial Education Specialists serving as MoneyCoaches coordinate, design, and deliver the MoneyMoments financial education program on the University of Oklahoma campus. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, coordinate, and deliver financial education workshops and events to OU students.
PREREQUISITE SPECIFICATIONS Must have a passion for financial education and for guiding college students towards forming a strong financial future. This role primarily consists of presenting financial concepts to college students in a classroom environment, so presentation/teaching experience is a must. This could include teaching school, corporate training, student organization leadership, etc.
WORKING CONDITIONS Normal working environment in university setting. Includes occasional evening and weekend workshops or events. Event setup may include light lifting. Education
