The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is seeking a Digital Content Coordinator to support Carnegie's growing digital platforms. The Digital Content Coordinator will report to the Digital Content Director.

The Digital Content Coordinator will be an integral part of video, podcast, and other digital product production for Carnegie. Working under the Digital Content Director, duties will include coordinating and scheduling components of video and podcast production, ideating and producing short videos for social media that prioritize speed and the news cycle, and producing complex explainer videos that utilize animations, graphics, and b-roll. The Digital Content Coordinator will also draft interview questions and outline the structure of podcast episodes, assist in drafting scripts for videos, setup and staff live media hits, and participate in brainstorming for editorials on foreign policy topics. Production responsibilities will also include the set up and break down of studio equipment for podcasts and video recordings, assisting with A/V needs for our live events, releasing videos and podcasts on our platforms, and providing production support for digital products across Carnegie's global centers. The role will also require effectively communicating with the communications team and broader Carnegie staff to provide updates on the status of digital products.

One year of experience working with digital content is preferred. Qualified candidates will possess knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition. Candidates will also be familiar with studio equipment such as mics, tripods, lighting techniques, and Sony Camera systems. The ideal candidate will also be highly organized with digital files and possess graphic design skills. Candidates must be self-starters and creative thinkers capable of generating fresh ideas, following creative direction, and exercising knowledge of the basics of storytelling.

Located in Dupont Circle, we offer an outstanding work environment and generous benefits, including health insurance. The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Please note that this position will operate on a hybrid basis, requiring in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
