What You'll Do

As aBrazer I, you'll play a key role in our production team, performing precision brazing and welding tasks-primarily with copper-to build high-quality components. You'll follow detailed instructions and safety protocols to ensure every product meets our high standards.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Perform brazing using a gas torch on copper materials with filler metals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders.
  • Conduct first article inspections and report any defects or issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with team members across shifts and departments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and problem-solving.
  • Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools to track production and inventory.
  • Be flexible-train across different areas and support other shifts as needed.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience (6+ months).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents in English.
  • Must complete JCI Brazer training within 30 days of hire.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Work in a noisy, dusty, non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs regularly, 40 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
  • Operate cranes, trucks, and other machinery.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces.
