What are important things that YOU need to know about this role?
- Work Environment: This is a hybrid role based at our Lilly Rd. office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin (2-3 days onsite per week)
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, understanding of networking concepts, and flexibility to switch between programs. Experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, Intune, OneDrive, O365) and monitoring tools for client environments and internal servers.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with email gateway management and support is a plus.
What will YOU be doing for us? Responsible for the management of information systems that are supporting the company's lines of business. Work with various departments to maintain the performance and availability aspects of business systems, and to serve as an escalation point for complex system availability and performance issues for both internal and external clients. Additional responsibilities include project management and training network administrators and other IT personnel. What will YOU be working on every day?
- Serve as a leading technical (go to) resource in the IT Operations area, with an emphasis on developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), information security, business and communication systems.
- Provide training and disseminate informational and "how to" knowledge to network administrators and NOC personnel.
- Maintain and support complex information systems that handle Devicelock Protection, SFTP, and EDI/File transfer Server Management.
- Management of business critical systems including Horizon View (VDI), VMware Dynamic Environment. Management, Servicedesk Plus ticketing system, and NOC monitoring systems including PRTG, Dynatrace, and Uptrends.
- Efficiently analyze and isolate complex system issues to effect restorative efforts.
- Maintain configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
- Maintain network facilities, computer systems monitoring and SaaS delivery metrics.
- Configure and maintain systems to meet Service Level Availability (SLA) requirements.
- As assigned Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, IT monitoring software deployment, security updates and patches.
What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
- 5-10 years of related experience working in an IT Operations department environment.
- Ability to work well with internal team members.
- Ability to use logical thought process in resolving complex system problems.
- Ability to ask appropriate questions to facilitate resolutions.
- Ability to effectively prioritize numerous incoming requests.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to convey thoughts and train others.
- Ability to lead project work designated for the Network Administration team.
What qualifications do YOU need to have to be a GREAT candidate?
- Experience with Microsoft (MCSE)
- 7-10 years working in an IT capacity
- High level system and administration of business systems, team leader, trainer, coach.
The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range. Compensation Range: $91,528 - $137,292 Compensation Midpoint: $114,410
