We're seeking a Principal Architect for Search and AI Platform - who will work directly with Azure to co-design server SKUs tailored for Bing's intensive workloads. The role includes defining technical specifications, benchmarking performance, and influencing decisions that impact the design of next-generation cloud platforms.This position has the potential to drive major impact on Bing's overall infrastructure cost and performance. By engineering tightly integrated solutions between software and hardware, you'll be setting new standards for how search services operate efficiently at scale. ResponsibilitiesPartner with Azure engineers and Bing platform leads to co-design custom server SKUs and infrastructure.Profile and optimize Bing workloads for cost-effective cloud-native execution across compute, memory, and storage tiers.Identify bottlenecks and collaborate cross-functionally to improve performance and reduce operational costs.Apply deep technical insight to help drive decisions on virtualization, containerization, and orchestration at scale.Evangelize architectural best practices for running large-scale workloads in public cloud environments. |
