Brief Description:

The System Administrator will assist with the technical design, planning, implementation and maintenance of the organization's enterprise systems. The successful candidate will have a deep and broad knowledge of A/V systems, Microsoft Teams platform, User account provisioning along with general IT support knowledge.

Detailed Description:



  • Collaborate with a geographically dispersed Infrastructure group to successfully plan, implement, and complete IT Infrastructure project initiatives.
  • Meet with key business leaders to obtain project scopes and effectively communicate requirements to Infrastructure group for planning and project approval.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of our Performance Center equipment ranging from computer workstations, video conferencing equipment and Teams room configurations.
  • Handle upgrades, maintenance and monitoring of enterprise systems.
  • Provide primary support to Performance center functions as well as other VIP support.
  • Maintain all document technical configuration and procedures.
  • Assist in afterhours maintenance windows and user support activities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:



  • Clear and effective communication in documenting problems and implementing solutions including partnering with end users.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
  • Possess logical, organized work skills including the prioritization and timely resolution of multiple tasks involving simultaneous projects and issues.
  • Experience leading or supervising small teams.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Administration.
  • Experience and knowledge of Audio and Video systems with the ability to manage live events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams operation, management and service.
  • Understand data flow throughout the local area network and wide area network systems.
  • Ability to work under stress, meet multiple deadlines and maintain a calm and professional demeanor when adversity is encountered.
  • Display ability to interact effectively and courteously with all staff, management and operations personnel; and, to answer all questions effectively in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Requires the physical ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 45 pounds, such as computers, rack mounted servers, switches, batteries, and network appliances.
  • Must be available to work overtime when necessary.
  • Occasional travel required (less than 10%).


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, relevant field of study or 6+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Systems or A/V Administrator or similar role


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Real-world conference room system management (preferably Crestron, Polycom, Barco)
  • Cloud support A/V systems
  • Okta Administration knowledge
  • Intune Administration knowledge
  • Executive VIP support experience


Additional Details:

Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment. The job may require some overtime, including weekends or holidays and occasional travel is required.

No relocation assistance is available for this role. Preference will be given to qualified candidates willing to relocate within reasonable daily commuting distance to the Company's Houston, Texas facility.
