The facilities department at the Prescott campus is seeking a Trades Foreman to assist the Director of Facilities in the mission to plan, organize and direct the maintenance, repair and alteration of campus buildings and grounds by directing and supervising facilities skilled trade shops, and ensuring the execution of such activities are in accordance with the department's mission. The position will serve as backup for the Director when the Director is absent.

Qualifications

Formal diploma/certificate/degree program of 6-18 months after high school. Area of concentration: Facilities Management, Utility Systems, or Construction

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Knowledge, experience and education equivalent to 10 years experience in the various trade crafts necessary to perform facilities maintenance functions in an educational, governmental or commercial environment.
  • Prior experience directing functions within a facilities maintenance department or organization.
  • Ability to schedule work, supervise and assess work output.
  • Ability to interview, select and train qualified personnel. Prior experience with performance management and appraisals.
  • Computer experience with MS Outlook, MS Projects, MS Word and MS Excel. Ability to learn campus CMMS system (prior experience with a CMMS system is a plus)

Licensure in one of the skilled trades preferred.
