Hourly Pay Range: $17.34 - $26.01 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
- Position: Operations Support Coordinator
- Location: Seven Bridges Fitness Center - Woodridge, IL
- Per Diem | Scheduled Based on Dept Needs
- Hours: Every other Sunday from 8am - 4:30pm, 1 Sunday every other week
A Brief Overview:
- In conjunction with the Operations Manager and other team managers, provides operational coverage for the fitness center as required.
- In doing so, adheres to the schedule set forth by the Operations Manager, monitors the activities of all team members, assists in resolving difficult and/or sensitive problems or complaints and ensures consistent quality services.
What you will do:
- Provides shift supervision of all team members performance and center activities.
- Takes charge of all emergency situations and procedures as required. Notifies Operations Manager or other team managers as appropriate.
- Conducts membership tours and enrollments as needed.
- Resolves member or team complaints and conflicts.
- Ensures the mechanical and pool equipment is working correctly. Notifies Engineer or Engineering Assistant if problems arise.
- A moderate level of analytical ability is required. Work is performed in accordance with standard procedures but does require basic technical knowledge or in-depth, experience-based knowledge in order to analyze and interpret information.
- Work is standardized but requires incumbents to deviate from established procedures when special problems or opportunities arise.
- Work requires the ability to walk or stand for an hour or more at a time, proofread and check documents for errors and use a keyboard to enter, retrieve or transform words or data.
- Work conditions include working in an area that is somewhat unpleasant due to drafts, noise, temperature variation or the like, working with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, or muscle strains.
- Performs other related duties as required.
What you will need:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED, required
- Experience: 2 years previous customer service or fitness center experience plus less than one month on-the-job training.
- Certification: CPR through American Heart Association or Red Cross required within 90 days of employment.
