Senior Aerospace Spencer is an engineer-driven organization focused on high-pressure hydraulic fluid fittings for use in commercial and military aerospace applications. We specialize in source-controlled, standard, and proprietary fittings. Senior Aerospace Spencer also identifies solutions for fluid conveyance challenges related to fitting applications. Our engineering capabilities include conceptual design assistance, modeling, testing and qualification. What does the job involve?

Job Summary:

The Office Administrator provides administrative and operational assistance across multiple departments, including Accounting, Quality, Shipping, and other functional areas as needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can adapt to shifting priorities, and enjoys collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision of TBD, the successful candidate must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:



  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to multiple departments.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and document tracking.
  • Support quality control processes by preparing reports, updating logs, and assisting with documentation.
  • Help with shipping and receiving duties, including labeling, packing slips, and coordinating with logistics.
  • Perform filing, scanning, and recordkeeping to ensure accurate and accessible documentation.
  • Serve as a resource to department leaders by assisting with short-term projects and operational needs.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to ensure alignment on shared tasks.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to support varying departmental priorities.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive company information.



Education:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or administrative certification a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or support role, preferably in a manufacturing or office environment.



Requirements/Skills:



  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., moving office supplies, files, or small packages).
  • Frequent walking between departments or work areas within the facility.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, or reaching to file documents or retrieve materials.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, scanners, and phones.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
  • May be exposed to typical warehouse or production environments.
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and fluctuating temperatures.
