Job Description:
The School District of Milton is looking for an individual to fill the position of Advanced Learning and Enrichment Teacher (1.0 FTE) at Northside Intermediate School and the district's elementary schools. This position begins on August 19, 2025, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in shaping the future success of our students. We provide a competitive starting salary of $50,600 for a 190-day contract, available to candidates with a Bachelor's degree. Additional compensation is available for those with prior public education teaching experience and further education beyond a bachelor's degree. Qualifications: The School District of Milton seeks a highly qualified individual to support advanced learning and enrichment programming for grades K-6 and to enhance student learning opportunities. This role includes teaching sections of advanced or accelerated instruction in Math (Pre-Algebra) and English Language Arts. Candidates must be organized, flexible, and collaborative, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ideal qualifications include: * Training or certification in advanced learning or related areas * Teaching experience, particularly with high-ability learners * Expertise in differentiated instruction, research-based practices, and curriculum design * Experience with assessments, data collection and analysis * Familiarity with EMLSS (Equitable Multi-Level Systems of Support) and supporting instructional decision-making It is required that applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Regular Education - 1777 and have the appropriate position code for kindergarten through sixth grade students. It is preferred that candidates also have Advanced Learning and Enrichment training and/or experiences, but not required.
