Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Melbourne, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsible for creating and tracking equipment shipments to and from customer sites.
  • Supports client program-related RMA returns, spares inventories, parts management, audits, and general shipping for the team.
  • Generates a variety of standard reports.
  • Manage quarterly spares audits within defined schedules.
  • Support / manage local shipping needs for various programs.
  • Coordinate/organize/track shipping and receiving within the program.
  • Ship equipment utilizing the client software to support customer requirements.
  • Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for shipments, considering such factors as the nature of items being shipped, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost.
  • Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments.
  • Receives incoming materials, unpacks, and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
  • Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
  • Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • Perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates.
  • Developing support for individual contributors.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
  • Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
  • Less detailed instructions are provided, and moderate peer review is needed.
  • Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
  • Follows established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
  • Escalates issues to the supervisor for resolution.
  • Works to achieve operational targets within the job area, which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
  • Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 / hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Temp to Perm (8 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an inventory management system.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in MS Office tools (primarily Excel).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Vlookups & Pivot Tables.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree.
  • MS Access background.
  • Attention to detail (Detail-oriented environment).
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Support during off-hours and overtime.
  • Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks upon receipt of internal certification.
