Overview

Your mission will be to lead and optimize pricing strategies for Michelin Connected Solutions (CXS) product offers within the North American Region (AMN). This role is critical to driving profitable growth by developing and implementing pricing and monetization strategies that enhance customer value, competitiveness, and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings expertise in B2B services, SaaS, and/or hardware, with strong analytical, cross-functional, and commercial skills.

This position is based at our headquarters in Greenville, SC, conveniently located within driving distance to east coast beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains and large cities like Atlanta and Charlotte. What you will do

  • Partner daily with the Connected Solutions team, B2B Marketing & Pricing, and our France-based business line to align and socialize pricing strategies across regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of our pricing and monetization strategy by cleaning up legacy pricing, enhancing governance, and developing sophisticated new pricing models.
  • Develop and implement value-based and subscription-based pricing strategies that drive recurring revenue and incentivize broader portfolio adoption by commercial fleets.
  • Analyze competitive and market data, collaborate with Finance for forecasting and profitability modeling, and manage the pricing database and code structure to support commercial clarity and execution.

Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies and Initiatives:

Lead the development and optimization of pricing for existing products, ensuring a competitive and profitable performance

Define new product pricing strategies, including value-based pricing and monetization models

Create and refine tiered and bundle pricing strategies tailored to market needs

Establish pricing approaches for new offers that align with market positioning and customer value; Implement dynamic pricing tools to enhance pricing flexibility and responsiveness.

Pricing Governance & Infrastructure:

Drive pricing and code governance to maintain clarity and consistency across offers

Supervise and maintain the pricing database to ensure accuracy and accessibility

Conduct offer code utilization and rationalization analysis to simplify and optimize the commercial structure

Financial Integration & Forecasting:

Partner closely with Finance controllers to align pricing decisions with revenue and margin objectives

Conduct profitability analyses and support revenue forecasting processes

Ensure pricing initiatives directly tie to financial performance metrics and strategic goals

Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning:

Analyze competitive, market, and Voice of Customer (VoC) pricing data to inform strategy

Maintain a strategic view of market dynamics, competitive threats, and evolving customer expectations

Collaborate with Strategic Insights & Analytics Manager to embed external insights into pricing decisions

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor pricing effectiveness, customer adoption, and financial outcomes

Provide leadership with clear insights and recommendations to optimize pricing strategies

Continuously find opportunities for pricing improvement and innovation

What you will bring

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strategic approach to translate market and financial insights into pricing strategies,

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive profitable pricing decisions,

Excellent communication and influence skills across diverse partners

Experience navigating complex B2B environments with services, SaaS and/or hardware

High energy, adaptable, collaborative, and able to handle ambiguity

Ability to work effectively as part of a team, yet also individually, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Hybrid work schedule.

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics preferred); MBA or equivalent experience a plus.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies, tactics, and practices; B2B services, SaaS, and/or hardware product experience preferred.

Subscription pricing experience is a plus; Mobility and/or transportation & logistics experience is appreciated.
