The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting in the Director and Managers of Financial Analytics in managing the health systems key Financial Analytics tools and data,

Essential Functions:

  • Be an integral part of data reliability, detailed analysis and consistency of monthly data throughout the RWJBH Health System
  • Conduct/Assist in training to Directors/local site staff on StrataJazz for new releases of the product, new site lead training and rollout of new reports
  • Analyze the financial metrics across the RWJBH system
  • Prepare and distribute executive team reporting packages
  • Analyze data for opportunities by site across the system, evaluate findings to management
  • Assist in implementation and completion of any external benchmarking engagement
  • Utilize external benchmarks to drive savings across the system
  • Assist assigned sites with budgeting process, including performing audits
  • Assist sites with rolling forecast process, auditing workbooks, answering site questions, reviewing forecast once sites complete, produce site reports for forecast review
  • Utilize per unit of service reports to identify opportunities across the site

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Finance in a related field required
  • 5-10 years experience in healthcare finance, preferably in budgeting and forecasting

Strata and/or Axiom
