What you'll be doing...

As a Field Implementation - Senior Manager, within the Verizon Value organization, you'll be responsible for developing the tactical execution plan for the Field Sales teams for key initiatives and product launches within the Indirect Channel, to ensure alignment with National Account Team strategy for Total Wireless, Verizon Prepaid, and Simple Mobile.

In this role you will partner with the Channel Management Teams to draft the playbook and call the plays, to ensure that the Field Sales Team is executing on offense and sales strategy for the Value Indirect Channel. You will implement tactical plans to prioritize, launch, and execute through cross functional leadership of Channel Management Teams and Field Sales teams. You will ensure that cross functional sales teams are informed, prepared, and delivering at the highest caliber to maximize sales, revenue, and growth. As the Senior Manager, in consultation with the field sales and channel management leadership teams you will collaborate closely and will make decisions for day-to-day business needs, lead launch execution plans, and make strategic decisions.

The Field Implementation Sr. Manager will successfully coordinate and lead the execution of high priority national projects, and spearhead initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and improve overall channel performance. This includes project management, strategic and critical thinking, post launch analysis, and executive reporting.

This is a highly impactful role which directly influences Verizon Value Indirect team results. This role focuses on sales implementation and execution at the national level, collaborating with both internal and external teams to guarantee consistent sales enablement for the Value Indirect Channel. The team supports the Exclusive Retail and Authorized Retail channels for the Verizon Value Indirect channel specifically supporting Total Wireless, Verizon Prepaid, and Simple Mobile brands. The optimal candidate will possess knowledge of the prepaid industry, have an understanding of the Value Indirect Agent channel and have a history of influencing or leading sales organizations.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Translating strategic plans into tactical execution plans through key strategic initiatives and levers. You have a track record of being able to set broad strategic goals and break them down into detailed execution plans.

  • Developing implementation plans with end-to-end ownership of multiple complex projects driving business priorities, leading internal alignment, and awareness of priorities with limited oversight and direction.

  • Being accountable to scope, define, and introduce launch execution strategies, processes, best practices, and procedures while identifying potential risks & providing transformational opportunities.

  • Organizing and managing key initiative project plans. Creating compelling presentations that provide detailed plans, defining business goals, objectives, action items, tracking accountabilities, handling logistical details, and post launch results.

  • Effectively and proactively communicating project updates verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership to ensure all projects are aligned with established strategy

  • Developing credibility as a strong business partner and building relationships with our key channel stakeholders. Collaborating cross functionally to drive initiatives forward and ensure alignment with channel priorities & long term goals.

  • Analyzing channel performance and facilitating reviews of achievements vs. strategic plans. Identifying appropriate needs to drive better performance results, knowledge through communication, field support, and other means, and roll out targeted programs.

  • Providing recommendations and influence on programs acting as a trusted advisor to facilitate strategic decision-making to ensure business objectives are achieved.

You have an understanding of agent capabilities, performance skills, and sales strategies that drive agents to meet targets. You are able to inspire, engage, and motivate cross functional stakeholders to successfully execute key initiatives and deliver outstanding performance. You can create engaging presentations that tell a clear story highlighting plans and expected results, and can communicate effectively across different levels of the organization. You have the ability to self-govern, are confident in your tactical execution plans, but are open-minded and actively absorb new perspectives that can be integrated into the holistic plan.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • High proficiency levels of Google Workspace knowledge with a particular command of Slides/Powerpoint design and creation.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately up to 50%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Experience with program and/or project management.

  • Experience in a role that involves strategy development and execution planning.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and possess strong attention to detail.

  • Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.

  • Experience in Indirect Sales channel.

  • Experience building new enablement tools/programs

  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills, with proven ability to successfully communicate ideas and recommendations to all organizational levels.

  • Experience driving sales, productivity, performance and results with the ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Excellent presentation skills including creating content and experience in presenting information to small and large groups from front line to executive-level.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and manage stakeholder expectations with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Where you'll be working

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $104,500.00 - $200,000.00. The annual salary range for the Colorado location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,000.00 - $200,000.00. The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,000.00 - $200,000.00. The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $115,000.00 - $200,000.00.
