What You'll Do

ECS Group of Companies are seeking an adaptable and detail-focused Treasury Specialist with a strong emphasis on cash management, account reconciliation, fraud monitoring, and payment processing. This role plays a key role in efficent liquidity operations and internal control compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Management & Payments

  • Monitor daily bank account activity and assist with cash positioning.
  • Assist with internal fund transfers.
  • Assist with short-term cash forecasting updates.
  • Reconcile daily cash reports and assist with variance analysis.

Banking Operations

  • Support bank account administration, including account openings, documentation, and maintenance.
  • Manage all user groups and access rights.
  • Assist with resolving transaction or service issues with banking partners.
  • Maintain banking data and ensure appropriate user access controls.

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts and treasury activity.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal treasury reports and dashboards.
  • Track and report on banking fees or other recurring charges.

Fraud Monitoring & Response

  • Monitor financial activity for potential fraud or unauthorized transactions.
  • Investigate flagged or suspicious activity and escalate as appropriate.
  • Assist affected parties in resolving fraud-related issues and filing disputes.

Process Support & Compliance

  • Support treasury process documentation and control reviews.
  • Assist with implementation of process improvements and automation efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls related to treasury.

Work Environment

  • Standard office setting; hybrid or remote options may be available based on company policy.
  • Will require extended hours during month-end or audit periods.

What We're Looking For

Key Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with treasury systems a plus.
  • Basic understanding of treausry processes such as payments, banking services, and reconiliations.
