The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $73,600 - $99,400 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

Are you passionate about driving positive change in communities while enhancing employee engagement and corporate responsibility? Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a Community Impact Manager to lead our company's local and regional community engagement and social impact efforts. This high-impact role will help bring our values to life-deepening connections with employees, customers, and the communities where we live and work, while strengthening our brand and reputation.

As a key driver of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, this role leads the planning, execution, and measurement of community initiatives including volunteerism, charitable giving, and employee-driven events. You will serve as a critical liaison between internal teams and external community partners, ensuring that our culture of service is embedded throughout the organization and that we remain a visible, trusted, and engaged presence in our local area.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the local face of our community impact efforts, actively participating in and building relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, and civic groups.
  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of community events, employee volunteerism, and charitable giving programs.
  • Own and manage the CSRConnect and GrantsConnect platforms to maximize employee engagement and ensure accurate impact reporting.
  • Plan and execute a variety of events such as our annual Day of Service, employee picnics, CSR activations, and Red Wing community events like River City Days.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide strategy for employee volunteerism, incorporating best practices and inclusive participation.
  • Support the "Investing in the Work" CSR pillar initiative across the enterprise.
  • Track and report on key metrics, outcomes, and insights to support our annual Impact Report.
  • Collaborate on additional CSR initiatives such as sustainability, Employee Resource Groups, seasonal giving campaigns, and digital/social storytelling.
  • Maintain planning documents, calendars, post-event recaps, and learnings to enhance future programming.
  • Intake and processing of all corporate charitable donation requests including gift certificates, product donations and financial requests.
  • Manage and execute internal product donations to external partners such as Good360.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field plus 4 years of experience in project management, community relations, CSR, marketing activation, or cause marketing-or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in event planning and content development is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and visual-including content editing and publishing.
  • Comfortable representing company values in partnerships with nonprofits and community stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with databases and project management tools.
  • Highly detail-oriented, resourceful, and data-savvy-able to draw insights and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Up to date on trends in environmental and social responsibility.
Additional Information

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based with flexibility to work remotely and attend in-person community events.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. during event setup and logistics.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, keyboard use, and screen time.
  • Clear verbal communication and visual acuity required for meetings and presentations.
