Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager, SI Governance with a proven track record of leading complex, client-facing software implementation projects-ideally within the insurance domain. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between clients, system integrator (SI) partners, and internal technical teams, providing strategic oversight and support throughout the full software delivery life cycle. You will be responsible for developing and executing governance frameworks that ensure SI partners align with our business objectives, quality standards, and contractual obligations. This position may require up to 25% travel to client sites, depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of complex software development programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, executive sponsors, cross-functional teams, and SI partners to ensure clear communication, issue resolution, and program alignment.
- Project Governance: Establish and manage governance frameworks and processes to monitor program health, manage risks, issues, change, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and contractual requirements.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, QA, UX/UI, and DevOps to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Resource Management: Drive effective allocation and utilization of internal and external resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact program scope, schedule, or quality.
- Vendor & Partner Oversight: Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and best practices for managing SI partnerships. Ensure their deliverables meet quality expectations and contractual obligations.
- Agile & SDLC Practices: Promote and enforce the use of Agile methodologies or other software development life cycle (SDLC) frameworks, adapting practices as needed to support hybrid or distributed teams.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare status reports, and present program updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to the growth of program management best practices across the organization.
- Contract Management: Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate SI agreements, ensuring alignment with governance and risk management practices. Monitor and report on ongoing adherence with contract provisions.
- Onboard Integration Partners: Identify and onboard new SI partners while strengthening relationships with existing ones to drive innovation and efficiency in software implementation.
- Solution Assurance: Align SI partner capabilities with enterprise architecture and long-term technology roadmaps to ensure successful solution delivery.
- System Integrator Strategy & Governance: Define and execute the strategy for managing SI Partners, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, high-quality, and efficient software implementations aligned with business objectives and evolving technology standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software delivery and program management, with at least 5 years in the Insurance domain - Life and Annuity and/or Commercial/Personal Lines.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale software implementation projects and working with system integrators.
- Strong understanding of governance models, compliance standards, and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex contractual and operational issues and develop strategic solutions.
- Extensive experience delivering package or Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) solutions in an Agile environment, leveraging delivery applications such as Azure DevOps, NetSuite, JIRA, and Confluence
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
What Majesco Offers: Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000.
