The Warranty III Analyst researches, prepares and processes simple & complex manufacturer warranty claims. Negotiates with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and tracks reimbursement of warranty claims. Identifies and analyzes potential after-warranty period repairs, and presents to manufacturer for reimbursement or negotiation/goodwill allowances. Reconciles approved and corrects any rejected claims. Produces reports, and provides management with analysis of trends/findings. What you'll do:
- Leads the Telecommuters with daily work allocations and distributes all work. Provides all training and guidance. Tracks all performance of telecommuters.
- Analyzes and reconciles OEM payments against ABG warranty submittals to determine leakage and suggest solutions
- Compiles information necessary on all Fire claims to process with OEM's, follow up on progress and complete paperwork on OEM buybacks
- Researches, prepares and processes complex manufacturer warranty claims within OEM timeline specifications Identifies and analyzes potential after-warranty repairs. Presents information to OEM for reimbursement or negotiation.
- Reconciles approves and corrects (when applicable) rejected claims; Pulls Parts Return needs from OEM (KIA, Hyundai) as requested weekly and any other OEM's on sporadic basis, creates/provides return parts labels for field locations to return said parts.
- Provides support to field management and technicians.
- Assists senior management with forecasting warranty collections for financial planning.
- Assists in any manufacturer reviews and audits as they occur or arise.
- Liaison between OEM and field when delivery damage is identified, including opening cases, filing claims, moving thru to "buyback" stages as appropriate with direction from HQ Management
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle repair, warranty claim preparation, and manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team-environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels of the organization and external vendors.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $70,000-$90,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
