Description Role: This position will work with the Director of Branch Operations & Service Experience to ensure branch compliance by performing continuous reviews of internal systems to ensure they are functioning as designed, and that procedures comply with federal laws and regulations and internal policies. Job Type: Full-time, on-site Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete branch audits to ensure consistent processes and procedures are followed.
- Utilize hands-on experience, procedural knowledge, and observations of branch processes to educate staff and provide feedback on inconsistencies, inefficiencies or other concerns to the Director of Branch Operations & Service Experience.
- Communicate observations and provide feedback on opportunities to improve processes and increase consistency in branch operations to the Director of Branch Operations & Service Experience.
- Continuously identifies opportunities for more efficient completion of quality review activities.
- Review reports on Blaze systems to identify unusual, suspicious or fraudulent activity.
- Review file maintenance activity on a regular basis using various loans and deposit exception reports. Follow up on exceptions and report findings.
- Review consumer loans originated throughout the credit union for reasonableness of interest rates and loan terms on new loans and recommends follow up.
- Oversee Safe Deposit audits and compliance in multiple branch locations to ensure Blaze adheres to regulations.
- Assist in reviewing consumer loans originated for compliance with documentation procedures, underwriting guidelines, and board policies.
- Assist in the completion of the required annual audits.
- Assist in monitoring information regarding the completion of audit recommendations.
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedures and process documentation.

- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

Requirements Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses
- High School degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of financial industry experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of Audit experience preferred
- Minimum 1- 2 years of Safe Deposit experience preferred
- Minimum 1- 2 years of Leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of auditing, internal control concepts and standards and comprehend/interpret policies, procedures, laws and regulations
- Well-organized, efficient, detail-oriented, self-starter, able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to handle simultaneously, multiple tasks and changing priorities in an effective manner
- The ability to work with all levels of management and credit union staff, and respond to questions
- Must be willing to travel to all Blaze locations
Communication Skills Have strong oral and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $66,192.04 - $95,000. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
