The Opportunity:

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting the receiving department.

Avantor, Batavia location, is hiring for a dependable, initiative-taking, entry-level Receiving Clerk paying $20-21 per hour. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 5am-1:30pm, with the opportunity for OT. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity in a stable industry, Apply NOW!

What we're looking for

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suites.
  • Effective communication both written and verbally.

How you will thrive and create an impact

  • Completes all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Reports status of workload.
  • Assists with small projects.
  • Assist the receiving team when available.
  • Responsible for tracking inventory of supplies and notifying team members when a n order is needed.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area to include daily filing.
  • Assists in maintaining warehouse security.
  • Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$43,700.00 - $72,800.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
