Description

Support high-value defense operations as a Senior Strategic Business Analyst and Program Support in Colorado Springs, CO. This role directly contributes to mission success by driving strategic growth initiatives, supporting complex proposal efforts, and providing program oversight that ensures alignment with U.S. government and Department of Defense (DoD) objectives.

Pay: $130,000 - $150,000

Essential Duties

Strategic Growth & Capture Management



  • Lead comprehensive capture strategies for DoD and federal opportunities from pursuit to award.
  • Analyze customer needs, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies to develop winning proposals.
  • Conduct Black Hat, Blue Team, and Pink Team reviews to refine pursuit strategies.


Proposal & Program Support



  • Serve as proposal manager or technical SME to ensure timely, compliant, and persuasive submissions.
  • Support or lead program/project management duties post-award, including performance tracking and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain compliance with FAR, DFARS, and internal processes throughout capture lifecycle.


Client & Partner Engagement



  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with federal agencies, industry partners, and internal teams.
  • Lead subcontractor and partner negotiations to support bid development and delivery.
  • Represent USfalcon at industry events and client meetings to support business development goals.


Market Intelligence & Pipeline Development



  • Utilize business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, GovWin, Salesforce) to identify and track opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and maintain company pipeline accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate reports and briefings to inform executive decisions and long-term growth planning.


Required Qualifications



  • 15-20 years of experience in business development, strategic analysis, or program management in federal contracting.
  • Proven success leading complex federal or DoD captures valued at $100M+ total contract value.
  • Deep understanding of the federal acquisition process and procurement vehicles (IDIQs, GWACs, OTAs).
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Proficient with pipeline tools such as GovWin, Salesforce, PowerBI, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with agencies such as DoD, DHS, NASA, State Department, or the Intelligence Community.
  • Background in cybersecurity, engineering, IT systems integration, or technical program delivery.


Education & Certification



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field (required).

  • Clearable (Ability to obtain)


Travel



  • Up to 25% travel may be required.
