The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is seeking student workers/interns (3) to carry out duties associated with the ongoing growth and development of the Pavilion partnership. Student workers/interns will work with the Campus Communications' Senior Director of Communications and Cooperative Education Manager as well as the BankNH Pavilion Senior Director of Regional Sales and Senior Venue Brand Manager on a number of projects in coordination with the BankNH Pavilion partnership.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
  • Coordinate the efforts of the Comms Lab students as they relate to the Rock the Intern partnership in the following areas: Communications, Sustainability, Construction Management, Graphic Design Photography, Videography, Organizational Leadership, Justice Studies, Psychology, Game Design and Accounting.

  • Hold weekly meetings with student teams in the following project areas to determine work flow, revise work product and establish timelines.

  • Report progress back to Campus Communications' Senior Director of Communications and Cooperative Education Manager as well as the BankNH Pavilion Senior Director of Regional Sales and Senior Venue Brand Manager.

  • Work with student teams to develop video content, social media posts, graphic design (banner ads, slides, coming attraction posters and email features), photo albums, etc.

  • Assist in lining up speakers for Penmen Pride radio segment

  • Brainstorm video content to engage the student community as it relates to the Rock the Intern event.

  • Work with the Cooperative Education Manager to identify new opportunities to incorporate additional classes, programs and student clubs and organizations.

  • Coordinate all activities with the Second Stage band that students will assist promotionally throughout the term of the partnership.

  • Work with Pavilion staff to organize the Rock the Intern day including speaker outreach, logistics, food, transportation and campus promotion.

  • Assist student teams onsite at the Rock the Intern event organizing activities and ensuring the development of content to be posted across five social media platforms (Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram).

  • Help track all analytics for the partnership for the purposes of a post event follow-up report.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Full-time enrollment on campus

  • Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate majors in Marketing/Communications or Graphic Design

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
