About the Opportunity

As part of the Product and Portfolio Team, you will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of infrastructure and software engineering solutions. You will lead and manage multiple large, cross functional, and highly complex projects and/or technical initiatives while appraising the value and outcomes delivered to the organization. This individual must possess the technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.

What you'll do

• Prioritize tasks, meeting deadlines, and adapt to shifting project requirements.
• Drive multiple projects with competing timelines
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, including people dependency, hardware disruptions, security, and compliance (knowledge or experience with HIPAA / HITECH / HITRUST is a plus).
• Ensure the reliability and performance of the projects by setting up proper testing phases and checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide stakeholders with periodic updates on project progress and clearly communicating timelines, status, issue resolutions, and any potential disruptions.
• Plan for user training and preparing the organization for adopting the new systems or services.
• Ensure all project documentation is up to date to ease user support and implementation.

What experience you bring (Role Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years Project Management experience managing projects for software engineering and/or infrastructure teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
• Proficiency in project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, tailored to infrastructure projects and the entire software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams or experience using Slack).
• General understanding of I.T. infrastructure and concepts related to systems, networking, virtualization, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), data storage, databases, data lake/warehouse, and datacenter operations.
• Adept in use of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.) for tracking projects, people, and process.
• Budget management skills, including cost estimation, financial tracking, and reporting to ensure the project remains within budget constraints.
• Strong stakeholder management to gather requirements, communicate progress, and align timely project outcomes with business needs.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivating and guiding them toward common project goals.
• Efficient time management to handle multiple aspects of large projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and the ability to explain technical issues in business terms to stakeholders and executives.

What Success Looks Like...

After 3 months

• You will have a strong understanding of the role and the Machinify organizational hierarchy as well as lines of business.
• You demonstrate the confidence and capability to independently drive project deliverables to completion.

Pay range: This is an exempt position. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee's geographic location.
