We are seeking a highly skilled Tumor Genomics Sales Trainer to join our Oncology Business which offers both germline and tumor testing. This role is crucial for the development and delivery of training content for our Precise & MyChoice product lines. This role will collaborate with product, R&D, marketing, and commercial teams on product launches, GTM, and ongoing development and delivery of product sales tools and resources. This role is the engine for competitive selling of innovative products and service delivery that solution for physicians and patients. This Sales Trainer will be a SME in selling Tumor Genomics projects and reinforce training for portfolio selling. - Travel requirements up to 25%
- Training Development: Create and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on the clinical advantages of our Precise & MyChoice product lines.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative training materials within our LMS that highlight the clinical validity and superiority of our products.
- Field Team Support: Equip our field team with the knowledge and skills to effectively communicate product benefits, address challenging questions, overcome objections, and emphasize our products' superiority.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to ensure training content is relevant, up-to-date, and world-class.
- Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in tumor genomics, providing ongoing support and guidance to the field team.
- Presentation Skills : must be able to provide clear direction, present in a variety of settings, utilize time management skills, be flexible and apply adult learning principles.
- Program Development: Assess the needs of new and experienced Account Executives to identify areas for program development and enhancement. These programs will be delivered in Salt Lake City or during quarterly area meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- 8+ years of success in professional field sales and/or sales training experience in biotech, diagnostics or similar industry preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in clinical Oncology therapeutic space
- 2+ years of experience developing and delivering clinical product sales training preferred
- Experience in and knowledge of tumor genomics and oncology required including knowledge of the tumor genomics market, competition, and the role of diagnostics and genomics in the patient journey
- LMS Content creation experience is required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to convey complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work cross functionally with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
