Requirements and Preferences
Work Schedule |
weekend, evening, and holiday shifts, 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM. |
Other Work/Responsibilities |
- Perform all scheduled milking shifts (both AM and PM) in the milking parlor
- Operate skid steers and tractors for feed distribution and manure management
- Move cows safely and efficiently from the free-stall barn to the parlor
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the parlor
- Assist with calf care and management
- Support general farm operations and additional chores as needed

Minimum Experience/Education |
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Department Required Skills |
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Accurate mathematical skills.
- Ability to use University portal including accurate timekeeping.
- Good communication skills, able to work independently and safely in a farming environment.
